20 Years on the Factory Floor
I spent my first decade on the factory floor -- cutting leather, testing soles, watching how shoes actually fail in the field. I learned that safety footwear fails not because of bad intentions, but because of shortcuts: the wrong compound on the outsole, a midsole that's too rigid, a toe cap that's not properly seated.
When clients started coming to me directly -- bypassing the middlemen -- it wasn't because I had the lowest price. It was because they trusted what came out of my hands. That trust became the foundation of Shoegan.
